Faith Connects’ vision is to inspire, facilitate, and mediate fellowship among the Church by providing opportunities for connection aiming to strengthen our capacity to live and experience the truth through the biblical design of relationships, discipleship, and service.

Faith Connects’ goal is to provide interactions where people can share emotionally bonding experiences that build strong connections that lead to lifelong relationships.

Ministy

Our ministry is to innovate the methods of cultivating connections. The natural framework of forming connections has largely dissolved. Faith Connects’ strategy is to use modern technologies to bring people together.

For those who are searching for a church or friendships, we want to provide“in-between” communities where they are encouraged and offered accountability to help them persevere in their journey.

Why Faith Connects?

Sociologists used to believe humans had deeply ingrained impulses and behaviors that could not be rewired. However, as our world has drastically changed over the last 100 years, they have realized that our brains can override our natural wiring with enough positive and negative reinforcement. The modern world constantly sends our bodies misguiding signals. Artificial lights tell our brains to stay awake. Flavor-enhanced food tells our brains to eat more. Videogames distract the brain from the problems in our lives and in the world that we must struggle with. Entertainment deadens our emotional connection to the people and world around us. Sex-saturated, conceited, and covetous culture has numbed out the urge to settle down and get married. Birth control methods have taken away the responsibilities and consequences of living a life outside of God’s design. Phones and the internet have made it so we can always maintain contact with people, which causes us not to value the habit of maintaining connections. Modern transportation has made everything in our lives replaceable: houses, churches, friends, jobs, spouses, and cities can all be left in the rearview mirror. Our highly populated and transitory world has almost evaporated the necessity of reputation.

A lot of the issues we see in culture today, anxiety, depression, addiction, and apathy, are symptoms of isolation. Isolation from genuine connections. Instead of addressing the issue, we have learned habits that numb and medicate the signals our minds and bodies are telling us.

Many people are living in their purpose and thriving today. But, for those who have wandered off the beaten path, Faith Connects wants to provide the game plan and encouragement to begin the journey away from the chains and weights that hold them down and toward truth and fellowship with God and others that is so intimate it pierces the soul and heals the heart.

  • We want to encourage young men to become leaders in their lives, relationships, and churches.

  • We want to give a practical framework for becoming emotionally, mentally, physically, socially, financially, and spiritually whole.

  • Bringing awareness to the meetups in our city.

  • Connecting like-minded people and churches

  • Connecting people and churches within their denomination

  • Developing our Mentorship programs

  • Connecting people to job and volunteer opportunities that fit their skills and passions

  • Providing ways for people who are faithful at their churches to discern marriage by connecting them based on core values

  • Allowing people not to have to church or bible study hop to find more connections

  • Allowing smaller churches to have an even playing field when it comes to meeting people or church activities

To ensure everyone understands Faith Connects’ expectations of how we are to honor and respect one another.

This is our Statement of Faith. It outlines the core truths in the Bible that Christians must strive to believe if they want their salvation to remain genuine.

This is what we believe the Bible teaches to live a full, good, and holy life.

The modern era has brought modern issues. This section is for two reasons. First, no one is surprised by any of Faith Connects’ content. Second, it is for those looking for further direction about issues that are uncommonly discussed in Church.

Our Logo

Faith Connects’ Logo is a redesigned image of the emblem of the resistance group called the “White Rose”. The “White Rose” was an underground group of German students at the University of Munich during World War 2. While the group was open to all, many of the key members were driven by their christian beliefs to intellectually challenge the German people’s cultural indifference towards the Nazi regime, war, and genocide of the Jews, through the 15,000 leaflets they created and distributed. In 1943 during one of their operations some of their leaders were caught, imprisoned, tortured, and executed. Faith Connects’ desires to uphold the values of standing up against cultural norms that gravely go against God, His Word, and the sanctity of God’s image that has been given to all humans.
